Description

This course provides continuing staff with practical and inspiring training for university ministry. Through assignments like the Cultural Autobiography, campus exegesis, and resource sharing, participants will deepen their self-awareness and understanding of their ministry context. The training emphasizes the importance of personal spiritual practices and collaborative learning within the community. Participants will engage in both online and in-person activities throughout the year to develop and apply key ministry skills. The course fosters growth in leadership and resourcefulness for effective ministry on campus.

Learning Objectives

  • Grow in self-awareness through exercises like the Cultural Autobiography, reflect on ministry context using campus exegesis, deepen understanding of university environments, practice integrating core values with on-campus ministry, engage in personal practices like prayer, reading, and reflection, and participate actively in a learning community both online and in-person.
