Description

This course emphasizes the significant role of faculty in shaping campus culture and aims to help participants engage and collaborate with them in campus ministry. It covers the importance of including faculty, not just students, in ministry efforts. Participants will develop empathy for faculty, understand their experiences, and learn practical steps for connecting with and meeting faculty members. The course offers tools, resources, and real-world guides to support these interactions. Ultimately, it prepares participants to foster deeper relationships and broader impact by integrating faculty into campus ministry.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain why reaching faculty is important in campus ministry; grow awareness and empathy for faculty that leads to a shift away from just focusing on students to including faculty; know how to engage a faculty member and schedule a meeting with a faculty member.
